Crosby Electric Co., Inc. is a privately held electrical contracting and service company that operates primarily in central Alabama, and is also licensed in Florida and Georgia. Employing between 60 and 80 team members, we have the resources to provide our customers world-class service, yet we are small enough to maintain that hometown feel and good customer experience.
OUR MISSION is to provide superior electrical service to our clients in a safe and timely manner.
Crosby Electric was started by Kenneth A. Crosby in 1967. Over four decades plus, Mr. Crosby grew the company from a one-truck operation into a regional electrical construction and service team. His tremendous work ethic, coupled with his reputation for honesty and fairness, are still benchmarks for every Crosby Electric employee.
Big enough to deliver quality…… small enough to deliver value.
If you want to wire a house…. call One-Truck Electric.
If you want to wire a museum in Egypt…. Call International Electric.
But if you want world-class service on your facility, home, or construction project in our neck of the woods….
We are just the right size for you!
Our electricians are among the best in the business. They are back-ground checked upon hire, drug-tested regularly, and receive on-going safety training. As a whole they are informed, dependable, and conscientious workers. The fact that more than half of our “Aces” (as we like to call them) have been with Crosby for more than 10 years is a testimony to their loyalty and commitment. They work hard, work safely, and they do it RIGHT the FIRST time!
Although time is important to builders, facility managers, and homeowners, we try not to compromise quality. We stress the long view, since the quality of our end product will be determined by our quality of work performed every day. If there doesn’t seem to be enough time to do it right……then there will certainly be even less time to do it over!
At Crosby we believe that common sense is the best approach to safety. We stress that if it doesn’t look or feel safe…don’t do it! Although we have a drug testing program, safety meetings, and the like, safety ultimately falls on the shoulders of our electricians. All our lead electricians are required to go through the 10-hour OSHA training course, and be trained in CPR as well.
Staying on top of technology is a challenge, but we believe it is necessary for providing the level of service our construction partners, facility managers, and homeowners deserve and expect. We have invested thousands in hardware and software so that we can communicate with our clients in their preferred manner….from pencil/paper to e-mail/digital pictures. Our service trucks are equipped with GPS tracking technology to better serve our customers.
